Description Job Summary - Assistants are responsible for the collection and coordination of patient samples for laboratory testing.

Samples include, but are not limited to: venous blood, capillary blood, urine, throat swabs, nasopharyngeal swabs and specimens collected by non-lab personnel.

Assistants will also be responsible for performing non-technical, simple laboratory tasks in all sections, such as operating and maintaining the records of basic instruments, centrifuges and dishwashers.
