Laboratory Assistant 2

Nature of Work This is a mid-level position in the Newborn Screening Section.

Duties include receiving and processing incoming specimens for laboratory testing, entering demographic and specimen data into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), and performing data entry checks on data entered into the LIMS.

May include receiving and distributing supplies and work in preparing specimen collection kits.

Duties are performed under general supervision.
