Hprobe is a fast growing company that designs and markets automated test equipment (ATE) for emerging technologies in the semiconductor industry. Our unique equipment offers innovative solutions for testing spintronic components under magnetic fields, particularly in the MRAM (Magnetic Random Access Memory) and TMR (Tunnel Magnetoresistance) memory sectors. Our customers include some of the world's largest semiconductor manufacturers and technology leaders.
The LabVIEW Engineer will be responsible for the design, prototyping, development, and maintenance of software solutions for automated wafer test equipment. These systems specialize in testing magnetic technologies such as MRAM and magnetic sensors (Hall, AMR, GMR, TMR), which are used in numerous electronic applications.
This hands-on position is part of an interdisciplinary team environment, adhering to design processes and engineering best practices. It covers all phases of the software lifecycle, including the development of user interfaces, communication with hardware, database access, and diagnostic tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated test benches for electrical characterization at the wafer and chip levels under magnetic fields
- Implement robust test protocols in LabVIEW, integrating commercial and proprietary instruments
- Execute quality assurance and software validation protocols to ensure reliability and performance
- Contribute to the evolution of the software architecture to ensure scalability and maintainability
- Manage software release cycles, including preparation and delivery to customers
- Develop and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and quality protocols that comply with release standards
- Participate in continuous integration workflows and propose process improvements
- Write and maintain comprehensive software documentation (user manuals, technical guides)
- Collaborate with field application engineers on deployment and customer support
- Deliver software modules and test programs in line with the product roadmap
Desired qualifications
- A master's degree (or equivalent) in computer science or engineering, with a solid foundation in software development
- 3 to 5 years of experience in software design and development, ideally in automated robotic systems
- Proficiency in LabVIEW, with experience using version control tools (Git/GitLab) and developing multithreaded applications
- Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written
- Ability to work independently, curiosity, and a passion for innovation and continuous learning
- Creative and pragmatic mindset, capable of improving existing solutions while adhering to technical constraints and project objectives
