Land Ceptor Functional Systems Engineer - Verification & Certification

We are supporting a leading defence organisation with the

continued development of its Land Ceptor Systems Engineering

team. This role will support the verification, validation and

certification of a complex weapon system across UK and

international programmes, working closely with multi-disciplinary

engineering teams.

Typical responsibilities include:

• * Reviewing technical evidence and assessing compliance against
• requirements
• * Supporting certification activities, including compliance
• documentation, verification reports and supporting evidence
• * Reviewing and agreeing Design Verification Plans and supporting
• design reconciliation activities
• * Working with Systems, Mechanical, Electrical and Software
• Engineering teams to identify verification gaps and support
• corrective actions
• * Supporting process improvements through efficient ways of
• working and automation

The ideal candidate will have:

• * Experience using IBM Rational DOORS Classic
• * Proven experience analysing evidence and assessing compliance
• against requirements
• * Knowledge of Verification & Validation processes and
• methodologies
• * Experience preparing compliance documentation and certification
• evidence
• * Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct technical
• investigations and work across multi-disciplinary teams
