Lead AWS DevOps Engineer

Lead AWS DevOps engineering for BMO Financial from Toronto in a hybrid, full-time role focused on cloud infrastructure and automation.

As Lead DevOps Engineer, you will guide enterprise platform engineering across BMO Financial. The work combines AWS architecture, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Docker, and operational reliability. You will partner with engineering, security, and operations teams while mentoring DevOps practitioners and advancing cloud-first delivery practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead enterprise DevOps platforms, toolchains, and engineering standards
• Architect and support scalable AWS cloud solutions
• Build Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and automate deployments
• Manage Docker and AWS containerized environments

Requirements:

• Eight or more years in DevOps or related engineering
• Three or more years in technical leadership
• Large-scale AWS environment design and support experience
• Enterprise CI/CD and automation framework experience
• Experience in Agile software development environments
• Bring AWS architecture, automation, CI/CD, and technical leadership to BMO Financial's Toronto DevOps organization.
