Description
Salary: £84,999 - 84,999 per year
Requirements:- Hands-on experience in credit reporting, credit bureaus, credit brokerages, consumer lending, or open banking platforms
- Proven experience embedding AI, machine learning, or conversational features into live, user-facing digital products
- Experience leading product strategy, roadmapping, and agile delivery
- Strong consumer focus, including user experience, conversion funnel optimization, and using data transparency to support financial inclusion
- Identify where AI and large language models can deliver genuine user value, and design features such as AI financial assistants, interactive credit report insights, and alternative credit-matching pathways
- Lead the product roadmap from discovery through delivery, including backlog ownership, user feedback gathering, feature prioritization, and success metrics
- Redesign consumer journeys to guide people who cannot access traditional credit toward tailored alternatives using data ownership and intelligent recommendations
- Foster a collaborative, modern Product and Engineering culture in partnership with senior engineers and technology leadership
- Maintain a clear backlog and agile delivery cadence in a lean, fast-moving environment

We are partnering with a high-growth FinTech scale-up in Cheshire that delivers credit intelligence, marketplace, and broker solutions. The business is undertaking a product transformation to develop AI features across its consumer products, with a focus on helping people access credit and improve their financial wellbeing. As Lead Product Manager, you will own the product function and AI roadmap, working closely with the CTO and Engineering team. The role is hybrid, with three days onsite and two days remote, and is expected to start in January 2027. The salary is £80,000, dependent on experience, plus bonus and benefits including private healthcare options and a contributory pension. The interview process has two stages.
