Liferay with Java Developer

Overview

In this role, you will design and develop Java Enterprise applications, with a strong focus on portals using Liferay. You will contribute to project delivery within cross-functional teams and coordinate with clients to ensure quality and on-time outcomes. You will lead teams of varying sizes and apply Agile practices to deliver portal solutions. This is a permanent position in Stratford, London, offering a salary in the 45k–60k range plus benefits and opportunities to work on enterprise portal projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Java Enterprise applications (portals) using Liferay and WebSphere Portal
• Lead teams of varying sizes to deliver projects on or before deadlines
• Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure clear communication
• Apply Agile methodologies to project execution and delivery
• Maintain focus on quality throughout project delivery

Key requirements

• 2–5 years solid Java Enterprise (J2EE) development experience
• At least ~3 years focused on Java Enterprise Portals (Liferay/WebSphere Portal)
• Experience in team leadership and delivering projects on time
• Strong communication with clients and team members
• Experience with Agile methodologies
