The Site IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for leading on-site IT infrastructure operations at the Greenville Plant (Piedmont, SC), ensuring reliable, secure, and high-performing server, network, end-user connectivity, and plant support services within a hybrid infrastructure landscape spanning on-premises systems and cloud-hosted services managed by separate enterprise teams. This role directly manages the Systems Engineer and Network Engineer while serving as the primary IT Infrastructure point of contact for Greenville Plant leadership and functional teams, including Production Operations, Quality Control, Maintenance & Engineering, Logistics, HR, and Facilities Operations.
Possesses a proven background leading technical teams in manufacturing environments and collaborating effectively with infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, vendors, and business stakeholders across North America. Exhibits strong leadership, infrastructure architecture capability, and hands-on technical skills across enterprise infrastructure technologies supporting mission-critical plant operations.

1. Provide leadership and oversight for the day-to-day IT infrastructure operations of the Greenville Plant, including servers, networks, end-user connectivity, manufacturing-floor technology support, and production-critical systems. Serve as the primary IT infrastructure liaison to plant leadership and functional teams, ensuring secure, reliable, and highly available technology services across the entire site. Lead the local response to site-impacting technology incidents, including escalation, service restoration, root-cause analysis, and corrective-action coordination with enterprise infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, service desk, and third-party vendor teams. Coordinate and support after-hours activities, planned maintenance windows, plant shutdowns, and urgent production-impacting incidents as business needs require.

2. Lead, supervise, and develop the on-site infrastructure team, including the Systems Engineer and Network Engineer, while providing site-level coordination, operational guidance, and escalation support for Desktop Support staff in partnership with the off-site End User Services Manager. Establish team priorities, manage workloads, set performance expectations, provide coaching, and support the professional development of direct-report employees. Maintain consistent operational standards for documentation, ticket management, service levels, change control, escalation procedures, and customer service across site infrastructure operations. Mentor team members in advanced troubleshooting, technical analysis, communication, documentation, and continuous improvement, while promoting effective coordination and seamless handoffs between the Infrastructure and Desktop Support teams.

3. Provide oversight and accountability for site-managed and site-dependent infrastructure, including virtualization, Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, certificate services, file and print services, IIS, backup and recovery, server hardware, storage, and related technologies. Direct the plant’s network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, switching, routing, firewalls, VPNs, network access control, SD-WAN, VLANs, quality of service, VoIP, and associated Cisco, Meraki, and FortiGate platforms. Ensure effective monitoring, patching, backup validation, lifecycle management, capacity planning, and performance optimization in coordination with enterprise infrastructure and cybersecurity teams. Support infrastructure architecture decisions involving resiliency, high availability, disaster recovery, OT/IT network segmentation, secure connectivity, and end-user access for plant operations. Oversee the physical management of technology assets within offices, server rooms, network closets, warehouse areas, and production environments, including rack, cabling, power, environmental controls, and vendor coordination activities.

4. Serve as a strategic business partner by collaborating with Isuzu IT Managers across North America to align infrastructure standards, processes, projects, support models, and operational practices. Work closely with infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, applications, service desk, and business systems teams to resolve complex cross-functional issues, including incidents involving both on-premises and cloud-hosted services. Translate plant business requirements into practical IT priorities, support plans, project requirements, and infrastructure improvement opportunities. Build and maintain strong working relationships with Greenville Plant business units and stakeholders. Clearly communicate project and operational status, risks, dependencies, support impacts, and resource requirements to IT leadership, plant leadership, business teams, vendors, and technical teams.
5. Lead site-owned IT projects and coordinate local execution of enterprise-led initiatives, including plant expansions, infrastructure upgrades, system migrations, device refreshes, production technology deployments, and network and server lifecycle activities. Provide site-level input into IT operating and capital budget planning, including hardware replacement, software licensing, maintenance renewals, vendor services, and support contract forecasting. Ensure the creation, maintenance, accuracy, and consistent use of technical documentation, knowledge base content, support procedures, asset records, network diagrams, and operational runbooks. Enforce change management, incident management, audit readiness, enterprise IT governance, and cybersecurity control requirements. Maintain accountability for site-level IT general controls supporting SOX and J-SOX compliance, including access management, change control, operational evidence, remediation tracking, and audit support. Continuously identify and implement opportunities to improve service quality, system resiliency, security, standardization, and operational efficiency.
