POSITION SUMMARY A medical assistant functions under the direction, guidance, and supervision of a licensed physician, physician assistant, nurse practitioner or RN.
A medical assistant assists in coordinating all aspects of the care received in the Urgent Care setting.
MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program.
In lieu of a Medical Assistant course, recent completion of one year formal RN program.
Experience: Urgent care experience preferred.
