Motor Mechanic / Motor Technician

Langs Garage is seeking a Motor Mechanic / Motor Technician to join its busy service and repair centre in Carrigallen, Co. Leitrim.

This is a full-time, permanent position, with minimum 39 hours per week and a minimum gross annual salary of €36,605.

Duties and Responsibilities

Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on all makes and models of motor vehicle.

Inspect vehicles and identify mechanical faults.

Repair and replace defective components as required.

Complete work safely and to the garage’s quality standards.

Work with colleagues to ensure vehicles are serviced and repaired efficiently.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of work related experience; A relevant motor mechanic qualification is preferred; applicants who have reached at least the third year of a motor mechanic apprenticeship will also be considered.

Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.

Diagnostic experience is desirable but not essential.

Good timekeeping, communication and customer service skills.
