OpenShift DevOps Engineer Toronto

OpenShift and Kubernetes expertise define this hands-on DevOps Engineer role in Toronto, with hybrid work requiring four days onsite weekly.

Support and maintain applications deployed on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform. This position requires approximately five to six years of DevOps, cloud, or platform engineering experience. You will investigate unfamiliar environments through documentation, configurations, logs, pipelines, and hands-on analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot applications and containerized workloads on OpenShift and Kubernetes
• Support deployments and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Resolve infrastructure, database, and environment-related issues
• Support PostgreSQL connectivity, monitoring, and performance troubleshooting
• Automate operational activities using scripting and Infrastructure as Code

Requirements:

• Approximately five to six years of DevOps, cloud, or platform experience
• Strong hands-on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform experience
• Good understanding of Kubernetes and container technologies
• Shell, Bash, Python, or similar scripting experience
• Analytical, self-driven approach to independent investigation
