FUNCTIONS &
RESPONSIBILITIES
1.
Role Purpose Administer approved accounting practices so cost reports accurately reflect production activity.
2.
Standard Costing and Variance Analysis Report raw material and labour variances for management review.
Assist with maintaining standard costing information and approved cost updates.
Track purchase price variance monthly and report significant variances for management review.
Apply annual standard cost changes for material and labour on January 1.
