Pig Farm Worker – Farrowing Unit

Location: Odense, Denmark
Employment: Full-time

We are looking for a motivated person to join a pig farm and work in the farrowing unit.

Previous pig farm experience is not required. The most important requirement is a genuine interest in working with pigs, willingness to learn, and a responsible approach to animals.

Responsibilities

• Daily care of sows and newborn piglets

• Assisting during farrowing

• Checking sows and piglets and reporting any problems

• Feeding and general animal care

• Cleaning pens and maintaining good hygiene in the farrowing unit

• Moving and handling pigs when required

• Supporting daily routines in the barn

• Following animal welfare, hygiene and farm procedures

Requirements

• No previous pig farm experience required

• Strong interest in working with pigs

• Willingness to learn practical pig-farm routines

• Reliable and responsible

• Comfortable with practical and physical farm tasks

• Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team

• Calm and caring approach to animals

Salary and Accommodation

• Salary: 135 DKK/hour gross

• Accommodation available if needed: 4,000 DKK/month

• Training will be provided on the farm
