Playworker

Inchicore Community Creche & Afterschool, locate at Tyrconnell Road, Dublin 8, Inchicore is seeking a Playworker to join the team.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• • Supervises children’s games and encourages the development
• • Provides play areas and prepares materials for a wide range
• • Encourages children’s independence, self-confidence and
• • Organises and supervises children on excursions;
• • Organises and supervises children’s activities in accordance
• • Puts away equipment and cleans premises after use;
• • Liaises with parents, carers and colleagues and keeps appropriate records.

Requirements:

• • Applicants must have relevant experience.
• • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and engage positively with children.
• • Good understanding of health and safety and safeguarding responsibilities when working with children.
• Job Location: Inchicore Community Creche & Afterschool, Tyrconnell Road, Dublin 8, Inchicore.
• Hours: 39 hours per week
• Salary: €36,605 per annum
