Principal Front-End React Engineer

Architect React and TypeScript applications remotely from Toronto as a Principal Front-End Engineer supporting accessible, responsive experiences.

Procom is seeking a Principal Front-End Engineer for a permanent Telco client role. You will lead technical direction while rebuilding front-end foundations, patterns, and standards. The work spans state management, data fetching, CSS, cross-platform consistency, and production-grade user interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Rebuild and re-architect front-end technical foundations
• Lead modern feature design using React and TypeScript
• Build state-driven interfaces across network-specific conditions
• Architect systems supporting millions of user interactions
• Own mission-critical agentic AI chatbot projects

Requirements:

• Six-plus years building production-grade front-end interfaces
• Demonstrated experience leading technical direction
• Proficiency with TypeScript, React, and CSS-in-JS
• Experience with state management and data-fetching libraries
• Strong accessibility, responsive design, and UX/UI detail
• Lead scalable React, TypeScript, and accessibility-focused engineering across complex telecom networks from Toronto.
