Primary Purpose of this Job

The primary purpose of this job is to support continuous improvement and maintenance of the ATI Specialty Materials quality management system, with primary focus on customer quality requests, requirements, specifications and audit activities. This position will lead root cause and corrective action investigations and work cross functionally to develop and implement robust solutions and process improvement.

Essential Functions (other duties may be assigned)

• Confirm and maintain compliance with customer quality requirements and specifications.
• Coordinate customer information requests regarding the ATI Quality System.
• Lead investigations into product or process non-compliance and drive implementation of corrective actions, quality improvement projects, and the use of continuous improvement tools.
• Maintain quality records and modify procedural documents.
• Lead, coordinate and prepare for onsite customer audits for all ATI SM US locations.
• Execute the quality function for customer qualification programs.
• Lead development and implementation of the quality system improvements, specifically leveraging best practices across manufacturing sites and product families.
• Maintain knowledge of customer requirements.
• Work within and/or lead cross-functional teams to develop robust solutions in a proactive manner.
• Participate and/or lead internal quality audits.
• Support quality related certifications and accreditations.
• Engage in activities that promote growth in knowledge necessary to perform essential tasks.
