Our Client, Laventor Limited T/A Daniel P Buckley Wool Merchants, based at 4 Joyce House, Barrack Square, Ballincollig, Cork, P31 HW35, is hiring 2 experienced Procurement Officer for their operations located at Hegarty Street, Milstreet, Co. Cork, P51CY61. You’ll be responsible for- Responsible for sourcing and purchasing wool, negotiating prices and terms, and ensuring quality, quantity and timely delivery. Monitor wool markets, supplier performance, stock levels and customer requirements to support effective purchasing decisions. Build and maintain strong relationships with wool suppliers, brokers and producers and resolve supply or quality issues. Previous experience in procurement, purchasing or the wool/textile industry is preferred, with strong negotiation, communication and organisational skills. Commercially aware, analytical and confident using Excel and purchasing systems, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines. This is a full-time position offering 39 hours per week with an annual salary of €36,605.
