Product owner Role

This is a remote position.

Product Owner:

Experience: 5-7 Years​

Responsibilities:

• Product Strategy & Roadmap:

• Assist in defining and championing the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our billing platform, in alignment with company objectives.

• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback analysis to identify opportunities and inform product decisions.

• Help prioritize and manage the product backlog, balancing short-term needs with long-term strategic goals.

• Individual Contributor (IC) Responsibilities:

• Feature Definition & Documentation: Draft detailed product requirements documents (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria for new features and enhancements. Clearly define the problem, proposed solution, user flows, and success metrics.

• Collaboration with Engineering: Work closely with the engineering team throughout the product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and product demos. Serve as a key contact for the engineering team regarding product requirements and priorities.

• Testing & Quality Assurance: Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that delivered features meet the defined requirements and quality standards.

• Presales & Customer Engagement:

• Product Demonstrations: Deliver product demonstrations to potential customers, highlighting the value proposition and key features of our billing platform. Tailor demonstrations to specific customer needs and use cases.

• Customer Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from customers and prospects during presales activities and incorporate it into the product roadmap and development process.

• Support in RFP: Assist in creating product presentations, datasheets, and FAQs to support the sales team.

• Collaboration & Communication:

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, customer support, and finance, to ensure product success.

• Communicate product updates, roadmap changes, and launch plans to internal and external stakeholders.

• Build strong relationships with key customers and partners to understand their needs and gather feedback.

Product Performance & Analysis:

• Assist in defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and identify areas for improvement.

• Analyze product usage data and customer feedback to iterate on existing features and inform future product development.
