Description
- Leading global and cross-location projects, as well as controlling, coaching and motivating interdisciplinary project teams
- Responsibility for target achievement within the project with regard to deadlines, costs (development costs, product costs, investment costs, production costs, etc.), product quality, product features and other project-specific aspects within the defined framework through customer contracts and internal target agreements
- Making decisions within the agreed project parameters to achieve project goals
- Tracking project-related KPIs
- Tracking project progress based on the milestone schedule (APQP)
- Reporting the project status to the Manager and the defined steering committee
- Acting as the contact person for customers and coordinating customer communication within the project team
- Acting as the escalation instance for the customer and the project team
- Proactive escalation management including initiation of measures in the event of imminent deviations from the project target
- Helping to define and standardize BU-related process descriptions with regard to ramp-up and project management
- Recognizing and initiating improvement activities as part of the continuous improvement process (CIP)
- Conducting ""Lessons Learned"" and initiating the transfer of knowledge into standards
- Controlling the change and claim management process for customer projects as well as internal change projects
- Coordinating commercial tasks with the Sales department and assisting with negotiations with customers
- Reviewing and approving offer conditions within a defined framework
- Other duties, as assigned
