We are seeking an experienced project management professional to lead the coordination and management of the Manufacturing Operations capital portfolio

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the development and transformation of our Manufacturing Operations estate, while supporting the resolution of health, safety and environmental (HSE) priorities and critical asset-sustainment requirements. The portfolio has an annual budget of approximately £100 million, comprising around 150 projects across 26 manufacturing sites.
What you will be doing:
- Manage a c.£100m annual capital portfolio, overseeing around 150 projects across 26 Manufacturing Operations sites.
- Support the transformation of the Manufacturing estate, addressing HSE priorities, critical asset sustainment and strategic investment requirements.
- Analyse complex portfolio and financial data, turning insights into clear reporting for senior leadership and site teams.
- Track portfolio performance against plan, highlighting risks, variances and key actions across each Manufacturing business unit.
- Coordinate capital forecasting and business planning, working closely with Finance and manufacturing sites across the five-year planning cycle.
- Ensure effective governance of capital investment, supporting the development and approval of robust investment business cases.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships across Manufacturing Operations, Finance and site teams to enable effective portfolio decision-making.
Who were looking for:
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and consolidate data from multiple sources, identify emerging trends and highlight areas requiring timely intervention
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels and help the business achieve its capital-spend targets
- A sound understanding of the financial and transactional processes associated with capital investment
- Experience supporting the development of robust business cases, using current insights and organisational priorities to help secure successful approvals
- A continuous-improvement mindset, with the drive to enhance the governance and management of the capital portfolio
