As a Project Manager on 7 Days to Die, you will help drive the day-to-day production of our Content team, working closely with artists, designers, and other development partners. You will bring structure and visibility to a growing, distributed team, ensuring priorities remain clear, plans stay actionable, and teams have what they need to deliver. In this role, you will: - Manage the day-to-day production activities of one or two cross-disciplinary pods, supporting approximately 20–25 team members. - Drive sprint planning, task prioritization, and follow-ups, ensuring deliverables, dependencies, and blockers remain visible and actionable. - Partner closely with artists, designers, and other disciplines to translate production goals into clear plans and priorities. - Facilitate team rituals and individual follow-ups, proactively identifying risks, resolving production issues, and maintaining momentum. - Coordinate deliverables and communication across a distributed development environment, including internal teams and external partners. - Support the evolution of production processes as teams come together and grow, bringing structure while adapting your approach to the team's needs. What we are looking for: - Solid game production or project management experience, including hands-on experience planning and managing sprints for large teams. - 6+ years of experience, including 4+ years coordinating cross-disciplinary game development teams, particularly Art and Design. - Strong proficiency with production and documentation tools such as Jira and Confluence. - Excellent organization and communication skills, with the ability to follow up effectively with multiple contributors and stakeholders. - A flexible and pragmatic approach to production, with the ability to bring structure to evolving teams and navigate changing priorities. - Experience with mobile games, QA, outsourcing, or distributed development is considered an asset.
