About the Position

The Project Manager ensures project quality, customer satisfaction, and successful job completion while meeting compliance requirements. This role focuses on resolving customer concerns, verifying work meets company standards, identifying opportunities for additional services, and supporting permitting processes, including septic permits..

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, full-time

  • Occasional Saturday support may be needed based on project load

  • Sundays always off (reserved for God & Family)

Who You'll Do:

  • Resolve customer concerns, restore confidence, and verify work meets American Rooter & Drain quality standards.
  • Address issues professionally and build lasting customer relationships.
  • Recognize and generate leads for additional services and cross-trade opportunities.
  • Monitor job progress, workmanship, and compliance to ensure successful project completion.
  • Assist with permits as needed, with primary oversight of septic permitting.
  • Work with Operations, Service, and Field Management to support project success.
  • Visit jobsites regularly, support crews, and reinforce quality and training standards.
  • Sell projects or set qualified leads when appropriate to enhance customer value and company growth.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Associate's degree; or 6 months to 1 year of related experience in project management, customer service, or field operations (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Experience in plumbing, HVAC, or construction industries (preferred).
  • Ability to solve practical problems, address customer complaints, and interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, and diagram form.
  • Ability to calculate percentages, material costs, and labor hours. Apply algebra and geometry concepts to layouts, estimates, and compliance checks.
  • Ability to read and interpret codes, technical documents, and permits. Strong ability to write reports and correspondence.

Licenses & Certifications

  • Permit or septic certification experience (preferred).
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record (required).
