We ARE looking for a QA Coordinator to support a major infrastructure project in Antwerp, Belgium.
As a QA Coordinator, you will act as the quality partner to the project management and operational teams within one or more assigned project areas. You will ensure that quality processes and the Project Control System are effectively implemented, monitored and continuously improved, while supporting the project organisation in meeting contractual and quality requirements.

As a QA Coordinator, you will act as the quality partner to the project management and operational teams within one or more assigned project areas. You will ensure that quality processes and the Project Control System are effectively implemented, monitored and continuously improved, while supporting the project organisation in meeting contractual and quality requirements.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor quality assurance within the assigned project areas.
- Advise project management and project teams on process quality, quality risks and improvement opportunities.
- Translate the quality policy and Project Control System into day-to-day project execution.
- Monitor the consistent application of agreed processes, procedures and control measures.
- Identify trends, risks and structural opportunities for improvement within the project organisation.
- Initiate, coordinate and follow up on quality improvement actions.
- Perform and/or coordinate process assessments, system audits and quality reviews.
- Analyse process and system deviations and ensure timely and effective follow-up.
- Develop and monitor improvement plans resulting from audits, assessments, deviations and trend analyses.
- Support process owners and project teams with the implementation of corrective and improvement measures.
- Facilitate discussions with internal stakeholders, the client and project partners regarding process and system quality.
- Report on quality findings, performance, risks and improvement opportunities.
- Contribute to the further development, standardisation and optimisation of the Project Control System.
- Act as the point of contact for quality-related matters within the assigned project areas.
- Promote quality awareness and ownership across the project organisation.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical discipline, preferably Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering.
- VCA-VOL certified.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience within complex infrastructure, construction or civil engineering projects.
- Minimum 5 years of experience on large integrated projects with a value exceeding €50 million.
- Demonstrable experience with quality management, process control, audits and improvement programmes.
- Strong affinity with project management and integrated project controls.
- Excellent command of Dutch, both written and spoken.
- Experience with SharePoint and Microsoft 365.
- Knowledge of Relatics, Aconex or similar digital project platforms is preferred.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to work independently, take ownership and proactively identify improvement opportunities.
- Structured and thorough approach with strong organisational skills.
