Job Description Job Description The Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) is responsible for administering non-parenteral medications to residents in accordance with physician orders and established policies and procedures.

The QMA works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and provides safe, quality care while following Indiana state regulations and facility guidelines.

QMAs do not perform invasive procedures or resident assessments.
