QUALITY ASSURANCE/QUALITY TECHNICIAN SITE MANAGER

SUMMARY:

The QAQC Site Manager is responsible for all quality assurance and quality control activities at a designated project site. Collaborate with site management to ensure quality requirements are met and embedded into each project schedule.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

QA/QC

• Manage the assigned QAQC team for the project/site, providing direction, coordination, and performance oversight to ensure all quality activities are executed in alignment with Muratec standards and project objectives.
• Serve as the primary quality contact for assigned project/site, representing QAQC in meetings and communications with the Site Manager, project team, and customer.
• Utilizing available team resources, create and update site-specific QAQC plans, check sheets, and audit schedules in accordance with Muratec standards.
• Serve as the project’s quality authority and advocate, collaborating with site management to ensure quality requirements are embedded into every project schedule and given equal priority alongside budget and timeline objectives.
• Track and report quality metrics, issues, and resolutions using company systems (e.g., EHS Insight Database).
• Monitor project progress from the lens of QAQC and Quality, ensuring all applicable procedures and processes are followed.
• Foster a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and quality excellence at the site.

Training

• Train and certify Muratec QAQC Technicians, and installation project contractors on QAQC requirements, expectations, and activities.
• Assist site managers and installation leadership in developing expectations for contractors.
• Coordinate and verify appropriate methods and clarification of work instructions.

Business Process

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on quality objectives.
• Use Lean and Root Cause analysis tools to eliminate process gaps and drive continuous improvements.
