Quality Assurance Supervisor

Location: Greensboro, NC

Position Type: Quality Department

Overview:

The Quality Assurance (QA) Supervisor will be responsible for managing QA staff, ensuring timely and effective implementation of all company's policies, procedures, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for the products and development processes. Reports directly to QA Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide all relevant “Supervisory” support and tasking, including personnel issues, timekeeping, staffing, etc.
  • Support Asia IQC teams (NHE QC, SRI QC, US Tech QC, and Pinnacle Sourcing) – ensure alignment of IQC practices, share best practices, review testing documentation, review issues and corrective actions during regular monthly Teams meetings.
  • Work closely with Engineering team when reviewing new products and provide relevant audit and testing data.
  • Work closely with Warehouse Receiving team on all inbound shipments that require IQC.
  • Oversee auditors and assign daily workloads.
  • Work closely with Camco rework team on projects that require 100% inspection and support.
  • Maintain an organized and safe working environment for IQC audit team.
  • Working knowledge of D365 is critical to ensure all audit data is captured, and product movements are executed correctly.
  • Ensure that all training programs are delivered effectively to all team members (job and quality training, safety training, etc.).
  • Ensure that all gauges and testing equipment are properly calibrated on a timely basis.
  • Assist Quality Manager with any additional assignments and projects.

Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of injection molding and production and assembly processes at Camco is a big plus.
  • High School education / GED is a minimum requirement. 2-year college degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years proven success in manufacturing industry.
  • Strong computer and communication skills required.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory/leadership position preferred.
