Quantum Hardware Physicist – Associate (permanent, 40 h/week). Executes experimental projects to push hardware capabilities; benchmarks QEC and gate performance; implements novel codes and gate schemes with Theory; develops and validates calibration routines; collaborates across EM Design and Theory teams. Education: PhD or MS + 2 years in experimental physics. Salary: $105 000 – $122 000. Vacation: 5 weeks/year. Benefits: Group insurance, virtual care, lifestyle account.
