RBC Data Engineer Student Program

Build data-driven prototypes as an RBC Data Engineer in Bedford through the Amplify summer innovation program. Apply programming and data engineering skills.

This full-time student program is designed for learners graduating between August 2027 and June 2028. You will collaborate with business, data, and programming specialists on real RBC challenges. The program emphasizes product development, critical thinking, communication, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research business challenges and develop innovative products
• Design, troubleshoot, and develop a product
• Create and deliver a fully functional prototype
• Collaborate with experts, mentors, and executive sponsors
• Pitch project strategy and communications to stakeholders

Requirements:

• Current post-secondary enrollment with specified graduation dates
• Understanding of programming, databases, platforms, and web technologies
• Experience with data transformation, engineering, cleaning, and mining
• Experience applying modern data science techniques
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills
