React Native App Developer Calgary

Build React Native features in a hybrid Calgary role, using TypeScript, Expo, and real-device testing for a training app. Work onsite approximately three days weekly.

This new graduate role supports a training app already in private TestFlight testing. You will build complete features across the app and backend, working directly with the founder and alongside a data and ML specialist. The stack includes React Native, Expo, TypeScript, Supabase, Postgres, and local storage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build scoped features and fixes in React Native and Expo
• Improve workout logging, timers, history, synchronization, and equipment flows
• Protect account boundaries and data through interruptions and restarts
• Provide focused tests, demos, and real-device evidence
• Help prepare TestFlight and Android releases

Requirements:

• New graduate or approximately two years of experience
• One working app or meaningful project available to demonstrate
• Daily Claude Code usage with verified, explainable changes
• Experience with iOS and Android development
• Calgary presence or relocation before the start date
