React TypeScript Front End Developer

Build React interfaces with JavaScript and TypeScript for Apex Systems in Toronto, working hybrid one or two days weekly. Support banking process modernization.

This six-month contract supports a Top 5 Bank’s Enterprise Process Modernization initiative. You will develop React applications within the Microsoft Power Platform environment, primarily serving internal back-office users and branch personnel. The work includes API integration, AI-assisted coding, and agile collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build new React components and application features
• Enhance existing React functionality as platforms grow
• Integrate front ends with enterprise REST APIs
• Review and troubleshoot AI-generated code
• Collaborate with QA, analysts, managers, and developers

Requirements:

• At least four years of React development experience
• Recent hands-on React, JavaScript, and TypeScript proficiency
• Ability to independently solve complex application problems
• Understanding of REST API communication
• Comfort using AI-assisted coding tools professionally
