Every third weekend, Schedule is 32 hours one week 40 hours next The Vascular Access Device Registered Nurse provides specialized vascular access assessment, consultation, device placement, management, and education.

The VAD RN also administers chemotherapy and other antineoplastic agents after completing all required education, certification, and competency validation and in accordance with organizational policy.
