Remote Data Engineer: Azure & Databricks

It Services And Consulting Company is seeking a freelance Data Engineer to design and maintain scalable data pipelines on Azure, with Databricks expertise. This role offers a 6–12 month engagement with remote work within Italy and a daily rate of €400.

You will collaborate with international teams, support data modelling and performance tuning, and contribute to large-scale data projects for a global IT services leader. Fluent English is required; Italian is a plus.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines on Azure. Implement and optimise solutions using Databricks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions. Support data modelling, integration, and performance tuning. , At least 3 years of experience in Data Engineering on Azure and Databricks. English-speaking (Italian is beneficial). Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data lakes, and cloud architecture. Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
