An obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN) nurse is a registered nurse who cares for female patients during pregnancy, labor and birth of a child.
They also help female patients with their reproductive health from puberty to menopause.
People may use OB/GYN as a blanket term to describe OB nurses.
