Sidian is a Waterloo startup building an AI platform for engineering firms. This is a backend-leaning full-stack role.

You’ll build production Python and TypeScript services (APIs, data models, auth, queues, enterprise integrations), orchestrate AI agents with LangChain/LangGraph (tools, retrieval, memory, evaluation), and own features end to end: database design, React UI, testing, deployment and monitoring.

You bring: 1–3 years of production experience; strong TypeScript and python; working React; SQL, cloud, background jobs and observability; and hands-on work with LLM systems such as RAG or tool calling. No construction or engineering background needed.

Hybrid in Waterloo.
