Job Title: SAP Business Process Analyst
Reports to: Enterprise Business Systems Manager
Location: San Marcos, Texas
We have one goal: to manufacture quality magnets! We are looking for exceptional individuals who want to learn, build, and lay a foundation for our company for the years to come.
About this role
Noveon is seeking a high-aptitude SAP Business Process Analyst to join our IT team. This role is a critical business partner responsible for the stability, compliance, and continuous improvement of our SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud environment across the full manufacturing value chain. Rather than specializing in a single module, this analyst will support the end-toend processes that run our operation, including procure-to-pay, plan-to-produce, order-tocash, inventory and warehouse management, quality, plant maintenance, and record-toreport, and will understand how they connect.
As Noveon prepares for future growth, this position will be instrumental in ensuring our supply chain, manufacturing, and financial processes are efficient, well controlled, and SOXcompliant. The ideal candidate is a versatile SAP generalist who is comfortable on the shop floor and in front of executive leadership, and who knows how to get the most out of SAP’s standard cloud capabilities.
What good is a job without great benefits to reward your hard work? What We Have To Offer:
- Competitive Base
- Medical/Dental/Vision insurance on day 1 of employment
- Health Saving Account (HSA) with Employer contribution
- Employee Assistance Program
- 401(k) retirement plan and match program
- Long Term Disability (Employer Paid)
- Short Term Disability (Employer Paid)
- Paid Time Off (eligible after 90 days of employment)
- Sick Leave
- Company Paid Holidays
Diversity
At Noveon Magnetics, we believe our diversity makes us who we are, and we strive every day to build a culture where everyone feels welcome.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Functional Business Support (SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud)
- Operational Lead: Resolving day-to-day functional issues for teams across
Procurement, Production, Warehouse, Quality, Maintenance, Sales, and Finance, acting as a primary point of contact for troubleshooting and process refinement.
- End-to-End Process Support: Understanding how SAP processes flow across functional areas (requisition to payment, planning to production confirmation, sales order to billing) and identifying where breakdowns occur at integration points.
- Operational Excellence: Overseeing the accuracy of master and transactional data (e.g., BOMs, routings, material masters, business partners, cost centers) and ensuring planning and MRP runs are optimized for production stability.
- Fit-to-Standard Optimization: Identifying underutilized features in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud to replace manual shopfloor, warehouses, or spreadsheet workarounds, improving overall data accuracy.
- Configuration & Extensibility: Configuring and maintaining business processes using SAP-supported public cloud tools, keeping the system standard and upgrade-safe.
Audit & Compliance
- Internal Control Maintenance: Assisting in the design and execution of internal controls over inventory, procurement, production, and financial processes.
- Segregation of Duties (SoD): Partnering with the Enterprise Business Systems Manager to review user roles. Ensure sensitive processes (e.g., Purchase Order approval vs. Goods Receipt) are properly segregated to mitigate risk.
- Audit Liaison: Serving as a key resource for auditors, providing evidence for inventory valuations, cycle counting logs, procurement documentation, and other in-scope process controls.
- Change Management: Ensuring all system changes follow a formal, auditable process, including documented approvals and successful User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Training & Documentation
- SOP Ownership: Building and maintaining a library of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for warehouse, production-floor, and office-based SAP processes.
- System Education: Leading onboarding and “refresher” training for both office-based users and shop-floor operators to ensure system proficiency.
- Release Management: Coordinating UAT for semi-annual SAP Cloud updates across all impacted business areas, ensuring that new functionality does not disrupt existing processes or controls.
We are Looking for Someone Who:
- Has SAP Experience: 2–3 years of functional experience (S/4HANA required; Public Cloud preferred).
- Possesses Cross-Functional Process Knowledge: Broad, hands-on functional understanding of the SAP S/4HANA areas that support a manufacturing business: procurement, inventory and warehouse management, production planning and execution, quality, plant maintenance, sales, and finance and controlling.
- Understands Integration Points: Strong working knowledge of how these areas connect (e.g., account determination, cost centers, sales order requirements, MRPdriven procurement) and the ability to trace an issue across them.
- Understands the Public Cloud Model: Familiarity with fit-to-standard, SAP Best Practices, and the release cycle of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
- Has Compliance Knowledge: Basic familiarity with SOX compliance and some IT General Controls (ITGC) within an ERP environment.
- Can demonstrate exceptional ability to create auditable technical documentation and user training materials.
- Possesses a high standard of ethics and attention to detail, essential for maintaining inventory and financial compliance.
- Is a “tinkerer” who enjoys finding the root cause of an issue rather than just applying a band-aid.
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust with both shop-floor operators and executive leadership.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to move up to 20lbs.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Can wear PPE.
- Is capable of making repetitive movements, including, but not limited to, sitting, squatting, and walking up and down stairs.
