📋 Tasks and responsibilities
Join a development team working on a business-critical SCADA environment that runs 24/7 and supports the real-time balancing of a power perimeter across Belgium, France, Germany and the Netherlands.
You will contribute to a broader programme focused on the implementation of a new SCADA platform based on AVEVA System Platform / OMI for the real-time steering of industrial assets. In this role, you design solutions that support real-time decision-making and interaction with Power Dispatch, Energy Management and Transmission System Operators (TSOs).
Your work helps maintain the balance between production and consumption within the energy portfolio and supports overall grid stability.
- Design SCADA solutions that translate operational needs into robust technical implementations.
- Support the real-time control of production assets, including renewable and flexible assets.
- Deliver integrated automation solutions for remote dispatching centres.
- Ensure alignment with a harmonised target platform based on AVEVA System Platform / OMI.
- Integrate new flexible assets such as renewable power plants and Battery Energy Storage Systems.
- Adapt systems continuously to changing energy market mechanisms.
- Enable the automation of decision-making processes that support ancillary services delivery.
📝 Your profile
- You have strong experience with ArchestrA Object Modelling and ASP Scripting.
- You bring solid expertise in AVEVA System Platform.
- You combine development and engineering know-how with a strong understanding of industrial application architecture.
- You are able to design reliable automation and SCADA solutions in a real-time operational context.
