Senior AWS DevOps Cloud Engineer

Design AWS infrastructure and automate deployments as a Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer in Toronto, with GitHub Actions, JavaScript, and Python.

This six-month contract suits an experienced engineer building and operating cloud environments. You will develop AWS CDK infrastructure as code, orchestrate ECS on Fargate workloads, and provision serverless frontends and data pipelines. The work includes security, networking, testing, and incident management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design reusable GitHub Actions delivery workflows
• Develop AWS CDK applications using JavaScript and Python
• Deploy and troubleshoot Docker workloads on ECS Fargate
• Provision Glue, Data Firehose, and DMS integrations
• Configure CloudWatch monitoring and incident response

Requirements:

• Public sector or enterprise cloud delivery experience
• Senior GitHub Actions and AWS CDK expertise
• Strong ECS Fargate, ECR, Docker, and EC2 experience
• Deep AWS VPC, IAM, KMS, and networking experience
• Experience with Glue, Firehose, DMS, S3, CloudFront, and WAF
