Senior Backend Engineer, Core Team (Go + PHP)

BetterMe is looking for a backend engineer for its Core team — building new Go services while migrating legacy PHP systems (about 80/20 Go/PHP).

Remote.

Responsibilities

Build new functionality in Go
Migrate legacy PHP (Symfony/Laravel) systems
Work with messaging systems and databases

Flexible work, wellness programmes.

Requirements

5+ years of backend experience
2+ years of commercial Go
PHP, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ/Kafka
Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD
