Description
The Guardian is seeking a Senior Backend Software Developer to join the Apps Experience team on a 12 month fixed contract. You’ll mostly program in Scala and Typescript, running in AWS, in a cross-functional, collaborative environment that values rapid iteration and shared ownership.
As a full stack engineer you’ll navigate both functional Scala back-ends and complex TypeScript front-ends, influence product decisions, and grow your skills alongside journalists and digital experts.
