Senior C# Environmental Data Engineer

Build C# and .NET environmental data solutions with SLR Consulting across Canada, integrating EQuIS and supporting practical client needs.

As a Senior Environmental Data Engineer, you will build custom tools, reports, and workflows for environmental data management. The work includes ETL pipelines, secure REST APIs, T-SQL, Azure services, and EQuIS solutions. You will also support engineering quality through testing, reviews, documentation, and Azure DevOps.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build custom tools, reports, and EQuIS data workflows
• Design ETL pipelines for laboratory, field, and logger data
• Develop secure REST APIs connecting EQuIS with other systems
• Write and optimize T-SQL against Azure SQL and SQL Server
• Support Azure deployments, monitoring, troubleshooting, and data requests

Requirements:

• 10+ years of environmental data management experience
• 5+ years developing C# and modern .NET applications
• Strong SQL Server, Azure SQL, and T-SQL proficiency
• Experience with secure REST APIs, ETL, and Azure deployments
• Experience customizing solutions within the EQuIS ecosystem
