Senior C# & .NET Developer(Finance)(m/f/d);FREELANCE;Germany

Good afternoon,

I amlooking for an experienced Senior C# & .NET Developer with a background in banking or financial services. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in developing enterprise applications, data processing solutions, and customer-facing platforms, combined with excellent communication skills and experience working in Agile environments.

Project:

Start: ASAP

Capacity: Full-time

Initial Duration: first contract until the end of year (extension expected afterwards)

Remote and on-site Share: 100% Remote

Project languages: English (Fluent)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using C# and .NET Framework/.NET Core.
• Design scalable front-end and back-end solutions with complex workflows and high-volume data processing.
• Build and optimize data pipelines, data ingestion processes, and automated business logic.
• Perform data migration and database development using MS SQL Server.
• Ensure high code quality by following Clean Architecture, KISS, DRY, and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, business teams, and Agile development teams.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and DevOps-driven delivery processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5-10+ years of C# and .NET development experience.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, APIs, and enterprise application development.
• Experience with MS SQL Server, data migration, and data management.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proven ability to design and develop data-intensive applications and KPI calculation logic.
• Banking or financial services experience is required.
• Experience in Risk Management (Market Risk, Credit Risk, Liquidity Risk) is highly desirable.
• Experience with Databricks is a plus.
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
