Senior CMOD Java Python Developer

Develop IBM CMOD solutions with Java and Python at CGI in Downtown Toronto, working four days onsite and one day remotely each week.

As a Senior CMOD Developer, you will build enterprise content management applications within CGI’s Banking Services Division. Your work includes document storage, retrieval, metadata management, Unix automation, SQL optimization, and REST or SOAP integrations. Prior CMOD experience is preferred, while related Java enterprise development can support learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain IBM CMOD document management solutions
• Build Java components for storage, retrieval, and metadata
• Optimize DB2 and Oracle queries, procedures, and indexes
• Automate batch processes with Python, Unix, and Autosys
• Integrate CMOD with enterprise applications through REST and SOAP

Requirements:

• Five to ten years of relevant experience
• Java development with object-oriented programming and multithreading
• Python scripting for file handling and API connectivity
• SQL, Oracle or DB2, query optimization, and indexing
• Unix or Linux administration with shell scripting
