Requirements:

• Proven experience providing security engineering leadership
• Experience mentoring and leading other engineers
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong experience applying IEC 62443 standards
• Experience applying CENELEC standards
• Right to work in the UK
• Full UK driving licence and ability to drive in the UK

Responsibilities:

• Engage with our clients security teams to understand their wider security strategy and requirements
• Create clear and effective Cyber Security Management Plans
• Plan and conduct Threat and Risk Assessments
• Evaluate third-party components against product and solution security requirements
• Verify that security requirements have been correctly implemented
• Support the analysis and response to security vulnerabilities and incidents
• Provide security engineering leadership throughout the project lifecycle
• Work closely with project and engineering teams to ensure cyber security requirements are effectively delivered

We are recruiting a Senior Cyber Security Engineer for a large-scale engineering organisation, joining our clients Rail project teams in a senior, lead-level role spanning the full project delivery lifecycle, from bidding and design through commissioning and ongoing support. The role offers up to £600 per day Outside IR35, depending on experience, weekly payments, hybrid working with three days in the office and two from home, and at least 12 months of project work.
