Senior Data Engineer F/TOverviewRole
• Collaborate closely with data scientists to understand the current modeling pipeline and identify optimization opportunities.
• Integrate and manage data from various sources and storage systems, creating processes and pipelines to produce cohesive datasets for analysis and modeling.
• Develop data pipelines to automate repetitive tasks within data science and data engineering. Demonstrated experience working in cross-functional teams or across different teams to solve complex problems.
• Assist the deployment team to deploy and validate production artifacts. Identify patterns and innovative solutions in existing spaces, consistently seeking opportunities to simplify, automate tasks, and build reusable components for multiple use cases and teams.
• Create data products that are well-modeled, thoroughly documented, and easy to understand and maintain. Comfortable working in environments with undefined or loose requirements.
• Independently manage and manipulate large data sets and applies various technical and statistical analytical techniques (e.g., OLS, multinomial logistic regression, LDA, clustering and segmentation) to draw insights from large data sets.
• Communicate with client counterparts to ensure customer needs are being addressed when designing data analyses and technical solutions.
• Reviews and applies complex analytical techniques or tools to draw meaningful and insightful observations and trends from large/ complex data sets.
• Conducts due diligence quality assurance testing for prototypes and tools in beta and resolves reoccurring complex issues and bugs.
About You
• Position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering or related and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or as a Programmer Analyst, System Test Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer, or related.
• Qualifying experience must include at least two (2) years with each of the following: PySpark; Python; PL/SQL; Data Warehousing; Data Modeling; Dashboard Development; Machine Learning Operations.
