Senior Data Governance Specialist (Data Supply Chain) (Toronto, ON)

Required Skills & Experience

● 8+ years in data governance, data management, or data architecture, with substantive time

in capital markets or a comparable regulated trading environment

● Deep hands-on Collibra experience: metadata harvesting, asset and relation model design,

custom technical lineage, validation rules, and workflow design

● Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of a data lineage or data supply chain mapping lifecycle

● Proven experience tracing supply chains to point of origin, including authoritative source and

system of record determination, and resolving conflicting or ambiguous upstream sources

● Strong SQL for interrogating pipelines and resolving column level references, and Python to

a production standard

● Substantive capital markets experience: trade lifecycle, front-to-back flows, market and

reference data, position and risk aggregation, and the reporting obligations these feed

● Fluency in the regulatory drivers behind lineage and control work, including applicable

regulatory guidance (OSFI)

● Working experience with Databricks, including Unity Catalog, lineage capture in a lakehouse

architecture, and the governance implications of platform migration

● Applied experience building LLM-based applications, including prompt design, and structured

and schema-constrained output

● Working experience with agentic patterns: tool and function calling, multi-step orchestration,

deterministic guardrails around non-deterministic components

● Familiarity with data mesh, data product or federated governance operating models
