Senior Data/Software Engineer

Senior Data/Software Engineer | Barcelona | Hybrid

We’re looking for a Senior Data/Software Engineer to join a high-performing data engineering team working on large-scale data products and modern cloud infrastructure.

What you’ll be doing:

• Build and maintain data pipelines and data products
• Work within a data mesh architecture and contribute to domain data ownership
• Support legacy migration projects with minimal disruption
• Identify technical gaps and work through them to completion
• Balance hands‑on engineering with stakeholder and client collaboration
• Communicate technical decisions, risks and blockers clearly

What we’re looking for:

• Strong SQL
• Develop and maintain scalable pipelines (batch and streaming)
• Experience with AWS, particularly Redshift, Kubernetes
• Strong problem-solving ability
• Comfortable working in ambiguous environments
• Someone who takes ownership and gets things shipped

Nice to have:

• Coding agents, MCP ecosystems,
• Domain-oriented data ownership
• FinTech, retail, e-commerce or consumer goods data experience
