• Our client, a leading Swiss private bank, is looking for an experienced **(Senior) FIX Engineer Specialist** to join its Front Office Technology team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on mission\-critical trading systems, FIX connectivity, and electronic trading solutions in an international banking environment.
• **Description:**
• * Customize, implement and maintain FIX interfaces for electronic trading platforms.
• * Configure and enhance order routing, market connectivity and trading workflows across Front AMS, Avaloq and related systems.
• * Analyse business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
• * Implement, configure and test new functionalities across trading platforms.
• * Support business users and troubleshoot production issues.
• * Define and optimize IT processes and workflows for execution and settlement.
• * Produce and maintain technical documentation.
• * Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors and project teams to deliver strategic initiatives.
• **Your Profile :**
• * **EU Passport or a Swiss Visa.**
• * University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• * **At least 5 years of hands\-on experience working with FIX Protocol in a banking or electronic trading environment.**
• * Strong understanding of electronic trading across Equities, Fixed Income, FX and Derivatives.
• * Experience with FIX Protocol, TLS, encryption, TCP/IP networking and Windows environments.
• * Knowledge of Front AMS, FIS Cross\-Asset Trading \& Risk Suite and/or Avaloq is highly desirable.
• * scripting experience is considered an advantage.
• * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• * Fluent English is essential. is an advantage.
