Senior Full-Stack Engineer — AI & Product

P49 — a strategic hub for hybrid AI headquartered in Padova — builds human-centered AI products across multiple verticals: Miky, Call P49, Music Republic, Nova Astra and future ecosystem projects. We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer with at least 10 years of experience, able to work across the entire stack and ship complete features from design to production. THE MANDATE

• Make technical decisions with direct responsibility for product quality and evolution.
• Design and ship complete features, from frontend to backend, all the way to production.
• Integrate Large Language Models and AI workflows into real, AI-native products.
• Contribute to a modern, scalable and secure infrastructure.
• Work across multiple verticals of the ecosystem, with a key role in the product roadmap.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build complex, reusable frontend components (React 18, TypeScript).
• Design APIs and backend services (Node.js, PostgreSQL).
• Data modelling and query optimization on PostgreSQL.
• Integrate AI models: tool calling, structured output, multi-provider orchestration.
• Realtime features with WebSocket and Server-Sent Events.
• Payments and subscription integrations; CI/CD pipelines and deployment.
• Code reviews, development standards and mentoring of junior developers.

THE PROFILE

• At least 10 years of professional software development experience.
• Advanced experience with TypeScript, React and Node.js.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, API design and authentication systems.
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD and production applications.
• Solid software architecture foundations and ability to evaluate technical trade-offs.
• Autonomy in solving complex problems and thorough code reviews.
• Good command of technical English.
• Strong plus: Lovable Cloud/Supabase, Deno Edge Functions, Anthropic Claude or other LLMs, RAG, Python/FastAPI, growing B2C/B2B products, GDPR.

TECH STACK

• Frontend: React 18, TypeScript, Vite, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, TanStack Query.
• Backend: Node.js, PostgreSQL, WebSocket, SSE, Lovable Cloud (Supabase) and Deno Edge Functions.
• AI: Anthropic Claude, multi-provider orchestration, tool calling, structured output.
• Infrastructure: Docker, CI/CD, production deployment and monitoring.
• Python microservices (plus): FastAPI, OCR, NLP, PII anonymization, vector search.

CONTRACT

Full-time on-site at our Padova office, Monday to Friday. Indicative salary €35,000–€45,000, based on experience, skills and level of responsibility. The selection process includes an introductory interview, a technical interview and a final meeting with the team: no algorithm tests for their own sake — we care about how you reason and design software.
