Senior Full Stack IoT Developer

Build React and Node.js solutions for BlackBerry Radar’s real-time IoT platform, working with telemetry, microservices, and AWS cloud systems.

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will help build Radar’s next-generation cloud platform. The work spans backend microservices, real-time data systems, frontend development, and architectural decisions. You will support a platform tracking trailers, containers, and high-value assets across North America.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build backend microservices with Node.js, Express, NATS, Redis, MySQL, and Elasticsearch
• Develop real-time systems ingesting high-volume telemetry at scale
• Contribute to frontend development using React
• Influence architecture and technical direction across the platform
• Ensure reliability through testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and observability

Requirements:

• Strong backend development experience
• SQL and NoSQL experience with MySQL, Elasticsearch, and Redis
• Experience building microservices and event-driven systems
• Comfort with AWS, Docker, CI/CD, and cloud tooling
• Ability to reason about complex system architectures
• Bring full stack development, cloud architecture, and IoT systems expertise to BlackBerry Radar’s expanding engineering team.
