Senior Java Full Stack Developer

Java expertise drives enterprise full-stack development in Toronto, with this fully onsite contract focused on secure APIs and scalable applications.

As a Senior Software Developer, you will design, develop, integrate, and maintain large-scale web applications. The work spans front-end, backend, workflow, API, and data-access layers using Java and modern web frameworks. You will build reusable platform services and microservices within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain enterprise application code across full-stack layers
• Build scalable Java microservices, REST APIs, and web services
• Optimize relational databases, queries, and data transformation pipelines
• Implement OAuth 2.0, JWT, SSL, and identity integrations
• Maintain Azure DevOps pipelines and automated deployment scripts

Requirements:

• Ten or more years designing large-scale multi-client web applications
• Extensive hands-on Java and relational database development experience
• Significant REST API and microservices architecture experience
• Experience with security gateways, JWT, OAuth 2.0, and SSL
• Experience with SQL tuning, middleware, conversion, and data migration
